We are proud to announce the latest addition to our manufacturing plant in Johannesburg, South Africa. Turnstar has recently commissioned a 4kw fibre laser from Durma. The machine is capable of cutting up to 20mm mild steel and 10mm stainless steel and will increase overall product quality and lead times. The laser cutter is also fitted with a tube attachment which enables the company to laser cut holes and part steel tube and pipe. Fibre laser is far more sophisticated and advanced than Co2 laser cutters which is now considered old technology and is being phased out by the various European manufacturers.
