Turnstar Systems is thrilled to be working with Auckland International Airport, helping them modernize their parking operations. The airport has already installed 16 Velocity vehicle barriers of various lengths; ranging from 3m to 4.5m at entrance and exits, which are designed for safety in the midst of daily operations – including a UBER lane that sees over 5 000 transactions on a daily basis.
According to Craig Sacks, Director of Turnstar Systems, “The Velocity Vehicle Barriers have been equipped with breakaway couplings and also possess CE & UKCA declaration of conformity which will ensure safe use should any collisions occur. This initial installment has been received very well by the airport and we expect further orders in the coming months.”
The installation of the Velocity vehicle barriers is yet another way Auckland International Airport is making traveling through their airport more efficient and convenient for passengers. With these higher quality barriers providing greater safety and faster operation during transit – travelers can now enjoy an even smoother experience when visiting the airport for trips or retrieving cars from the parking lots.
Not only does this permit more efficient management of busy traffic lanes but provides improved access control as well; security personnel can now easily monitor entrances and exits with higher accuracy due to these enhanced barrier models provided by Turnstar Systems. It is expected that these improvements will lead to even greater customer satisfaction in the future as they witness increased safety measures while navigating the airport parking area.
In addition to improved safety features, these Velocity vehicle barriers are also easy to maintain and upgrade, allowing airports like Auckland International Airport to quickly adopt new technology and make improvements without too much disruption or delay – something that Craig Sacks is excited about: “We believe that our top-notch barriers will enable airports across New Zealand (and beyond) operate more effectively–helping them save time, money and valuable resources.”
