Turnstar’s recently launched Velocity Traffic Barrier can be supplied with an under arm jackknife kit for areas with a low ceiling. The kit enables you to set the height of the barrier arm and because it is an ‘under arm’ type folding arm system, maximum height clearance can be retained. The only height loss is 100mm from the underside of the ceiling or concrete slab. Manufactured from 304 grade brushed stainless steel and low friction bronze, the unit can be easily installed onto an existing barrier at site and has only two adjustments in order to level the barrier arm.
