Turnstar recently supplied 3 automatic hydraulic bollards to the Chinese Consulate in Cape Town. The bollards are manufactured from 304 grade brushed stainless steel and are each powered by their own separate hydraulic system. With the hydraulic pump inside the bollard, there is no need to have an ugly and noisy power pack next to the bollard installation. The bollards are also fitted with flashing LEDs lights in the head which offer increased visibility and are connected to loop detectors which prevent any accidental rising whilst a car is over the lowered bollards.
