An important part of Turnstar’s production is the manufacture of geared motors for various applications, such as vehicle barriers. The AC and BLDC torque motor both use the same type of 3 stage helical gearbox all manufactured in-house at Turnstar. Geared motors are available in a number of different speeds including 3.5rpm, 7.5rpm, 10rpm and 14rpm. This combined with the option of 60W, 100W and 160W AC stators means a truly versatile product which is robust and durable.
